Strong storms moved across Southeast Texas Saturday, bringing lightning, heavy rain, reported damage in Lake Jackson and a waterspout spotted off the Galveston coast.
CenterPoint Energy says crews are preparing for more storms across the Greater Houston area after severe weather knocked out power to roughly 133,000 customers earlier this week.
A strong thunderstorm near Freeport is moving east and could bring wind gusts up to 50 mph to parts of southeastern Brazoria County, including Freeport, Clute and Surfside Beach.
