BRAZORIA COUNTY, TX — With school out for the summer, Brazosport ISD is continuing a program aimed at making sure local children still have access to meals during the break.
The district’s Meals on the Move program is offering free breakfast and lunch for children and teens 18 years old and younger at multiple locations across the Brazosport area through July 2, 2026.
The program runs Monday through Thursday and includes both school-based feeding sites and mobile meal stops at public locations such as libraries, recreation centers and the Lake Jackson Outdoor Pool.
According to Brazosport ISD, meals must be consumed on-site. Each child may receive one breakfast and one lunch per day.

Together, the meal and book programs are part of a broader effort to keep students nourished, engaged and supported during the summer months.
What parents should know
Families do not have to be enrolled at a particular campus to use the summer meal program. The meals are available for children and teens 18 and under.
Parents should check the district’s posted schedule before heading to a site, especially during bad weather, holidays or schedule changes.
For questions, families can contact Brazosport ISD at 979-730-7000 or visit the district’s website for current summer meal information.
