BRAZORIA, Texas — Brazoria County Mud Drags is scheduled to host its “Memorial Day Madness” event on Saturday, May 23, 2026, bringing a one-day mud drag racing competition to the area featuring multiple classes of trucks and vehicles.

The event is expected to serve as a full day of racing activity during the Memorial Day weekend, with all classes scheduled to run throughout the event.

Organizers have promoted the event as a single-day competition featuring side-by-side mud drag racing on prepared tracks. Officials have indicated that additional details regarding payout structures will be released prior to the event.

The facility will feature two 45-foot-wide, 200-foot-long mud drag lanes designed for competitive racing. A Pro Accu-Time timing system will be used to record results, with large scoreboards displaying elapsed times and speeds for both competitors and spectators.

The venue will also include bleacher seating, concession stands, and designated spectator areas secured with guard rails and catch cables for safety.

Brazoria County Mud Drags events continue to draw competitors and spectators from across the region, with Memorial Day Madness expected to bring a full day of racing activity to the area during the holiday weekend.
